How to Order

Gallery Paintings

1.  Browse the Galleries and simply choose the painting you wish to view and click the Add to Cart button. Head for the checkout then enter your details and follow the instructions for delivery and payment.  If you choose to pay by credit/debit card you will then be taken through to PayPal to complete your order. Even if you do not have a PayPal account you can still pay by credit card.


2. Email us at with the name of the picture and location on the website together with your telephone number and we will call you back and take payment over the phone.

Commissioned Paintings

I want a portrait painted from one of my photographs, what do I need to do?

1.  Simply attach the photograph to an email, or post your desired photograph that you would like me to paint, together with the size and medium that you require, and any details that you would like to add. If you are not sure about the size you would like, just let me know and I’ll give you options and advice. I will then get back to you with a quote.

Prices start from £95.oo (price based on 8″ x 10″ size, one person, head and shoulders). Please note that the dimensions of 8 x 10 inches refer to the DRAWING size. With a standard mat, the dimensions will be 11 x 14 inches (for pencil). The frame is not included because of the risk of damage during shipping.
Portrait sizes are completely flexible, you can commission your painting in any dimensions that you wish.

2. Once we’ve agreed upon the size and taken note of any instructions or ideas that you may have, I will commission your portrait.  You will also be asked to pay a non-refundable 25% deposit to secure the commission. Full payment is not required until the portrait is completed and you are entirely satisfied with it.

3. Once the portrait is completed, I will email you a photo of the finished portrait for your approval before posting the original to you.  Should you wish to make any changes, please let me know exactly what you would like changed in an email for clarity. I will be happy to make any reasonable changes that you require.

4. Once you have approved the painting, we will send you an electronic invoice for a final payment, as the remaining balance needs to be settled.  As soon as I receive your payment I will post your painting to the address that you have provided by Special Delivery, (this is insured against loss or damage).

The shipping is not included in the price of the portrait. It usually falls between £6.00 and £20.00, dependent on size and destination, (this is insured against loss or damage).

If you would like a commission in time for a special occasion such as a birthday please let me know and I will do my best to meet the deadline for you.
